So, it has been an extremely crazy few months, but God has proven faithful as always. Just to give the HUGE praises (because there are way too many to list all of them lately), I'll give a few. In the past few months:
~ My grandmother (the center of our family) found out she had lung cancer but was not a candidate for surgery; after begging and giving a movie-quality speech, they agreed; she's now at home; her emphysema somehow contained the cancer, so she went from less than a year to live to possibly being in the clear;
~ My mom found out she had a pre-cancerous polyp & had half of her colon removed, as well as her gall bladder and a ton of lymph nodes; once removed, they realized the polyp was already cancerous but were able to get it all; so she's most likely in the clear;
~ My dad found out he had throat cancer (are you catching the theme?) and had his uvula removed; we found out this morning that it's clear and he doesn't need further treatment;
~ Our non-profit organization is almost fully up and running, including incorporation
~ I also finally feel some direction about jobs for next year, which is a huge relief
These are just a few among many. It is obvious that this semester has been very trying, to say the least. But as usual, God is proving faithful and continues to amaze me every day.
"Everyone was amazed and gave praise to God. They were filled with awe and said, 'we have seen remarkable things today.'" Luke 5:26
